Grubbian supports two types of orders, depending on how each restaurant prefers to operate.
Deposit Only (Table Booking)
Secure your table by placing a small deposit when booking. The deposit is fully redeemable once you arrive at the restaurant and dine. You’ll order your meals at the restaurant, the traditional way.
Meal Pre-orders
Some restaurants allow you to pre-order your meals when booking your table. After selecting your date and time, you’ll be asked whether you’d like to pre-order or simply reserve a table and order on arrival — the choice is always yours.
You can easily see whether a restaurant allows meal pre-ordering by viewing their profile in the app.
Is Grubbian free to use?
Yes, downloading and booking through the app is free for users.
Do I have to pre-order my meals?
No. Even if a restaurant allows meal pre-orders, you can choose to order at the restaurant instead.
Is my deposit refundable?
Deposits are redeemable when you show up for your booking and dine at the restaurant.
