Yes. Browse and book in your browser, or use the Android app. You can explore restaurants without an account; sign in when you want to book, save favourites or manage an order.

No. Reserve a table and order when you arrive, or select meals in advance where pre-ordering is offered. The restaurant's profile shows the available options.

Pay the stated deposit after the restaurant accepts your request. When you dine, the full deposit is deducted from your restaurant bill. This bill credit is separate from a refund if your booking cannot go ahead.

Submit your request first. If the restaurant accepts, open Orders and choose Confirm to pay by M-Pesa or card. Pay the deposit for a table booking or the full meal amount for a pre-order, less any eligible points used.

You can edit eligible meal pre-orders while Pending or Accepted. Change the time, group size, meals, quantities or guest notes, then review the new total. An edited Accepted order returns to Pending for fresh restaurant review. Deposit-only and Confirmed orders cannot use this editor.

Yes. Open an existing order and choose Chat with restaurant. Text chat is available while Pending, Accepted or Confirmed, for table bookings and meal pre-orders. Once the order closes, an existing conversation remains available to read.

Eligible meal pre-orders earn 1 point per complete KES 100 of qualifying cash paid. Each point is worth KES 1 toward an eligible meal. Earnings become available after the order is Fulfilled. Deposit-only bookings and the portion paid with points do not earn points.

A deposit is credited against your bill when you dine; it is not automatically refundable. If a Confirmed booking cannot proceed, contact the restaurant or Grubbian. A reschedule, takeaway or other solution may be possible. Where appropriate, the restaurant can request a refund for Grubbian to verify and process.
